During a time of markdowns and high consumption, PANGAIA paused for a moment of introspection about their mission for an Earth-positive future. Our message was simple: we asked if you’re shopping this weekend, we hope you do it mindfully, choosing products that are designed with science and purpose at the forefront. Each purchase was matched with a triple the trees iniative.

Blue Friday, renamed, shifts the focus from sales, to our Blue Planet. Our call to pause and think before clicking.

We’re not here to ask you to buy less, that’s your decision. Instead we’re here to give you more responsible options. We know that we’re a business at the end of the day, yet we wake up every day with the belief that it is also through this business that we can continue to invest in problem-solving science, regenerative agriculture and other solutions that can bring us to the dream that helped us start PANGAIA: To design an earth positive business model.

We’re born from purpose and science. But we know we’re not perfect. Together, we’re trying to understand how we can do better every single day, and we promise to continuously set higher standards for ourselves with each passing year. Dreaming to one day make products that are better for the planet than not making them. Not just carbon neutral but Earth Positive.

We promise to keep learning and sharing problem-solving science and nature’s incredible solutions with the world. We hold ourselves accountable to the PANGAIA pledge we made last year to triple the trees we plant, and dream to play a role in the transition to responsible production and consumption. That’s a penny for our thoughts and our small way of thinking a little bluer. A tiny ripple compared to the tidal wave of overconsumption. But hopefully a small step in the right direction. We also want to thank you, because without you there is no us.
